On Lawyer’s Day 2026, we are already thinking, as usual, about the year ahead: what new cases will come our way, what articles will appear in professional legal publications, and what speaking engagements and projects lie ahead. But before planning for the future, there is one important thing we need to do — congratulate our colleagues. Because even at a law firm, content does not write itself.
There are professions where the working day almost never ends with the words, “Well, that’s it — definitely no more surprises today.” 😅
Because today might be the day a new client comes along, a court decision arrives at 10:30 p.m., or an international federation schedules an urgent hearing for tomorrow.
And perhaps that is exactly why we love what we do. For the opportunity to take on new challenges every day, to find solutions where there seem to be none, to argue our case, persuade, win… and never stop learning.
This year has once again reminded us that legal practice never ceases to surprise. One moment, we are challenging a decision by the customs authorities; the next, we are representing an athlete in an international anti-doping dispute; and just a few hours later, we are already discussing the strategy for an entirely different case.
Clients, jurisdictions, and time zones may change, but one thing remains constant — our determination to find a solution even when, at first glance, none seems to exist.
We thank our colleagues for their professionalism, our clients for their trust, and everyone who has chosen law as their profession for their dedication to it.
May every lawyer have more victories, fascinating cases, and outcomes to be proud of.
Happy Lawyer’s Day! ✨
