It turned out that the court is hearing a case in which the Department of Communal Property of the Odesa City Council (The OCC) contests the privatization of the purchased apartment by the sellers.
Moreover, legal proceeding was opened during signing a contract with our client.
Our real estate attorneys managed to refute the Municipal Property Department of the Odessa City Council arguments and prove:
- the apartment is dwelling;
- the Primorsky District Administration of the OCC had the authority to arrange according to which sellers obtained a warrant for an apartment;
- the Department of Urban Economy of the OCC was competent authority and legally issued an order of transferring the disputed apartment in the seller’s property;
- utility company "City Agency for Privatization of Housing" is legally undergoing a privatization process disputed property.
