Juris Ferrum Partners to Speak at Construction Law Masterclass
Autumn is always a busy season for the legal community. Each year it brings new opportunities for professional exchange, live discussion, and learning. Our attorneys actively participate in such events, sharing practical experience and unpacking complex cases.
On November 14, 2025, the city of Odesa will host the 15th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Advocacy: Past, Present, and Future.”
The event is traditionally organized by the National University “Odesa Law Academy”, the Ukrainian National Bar Association, and the Bar Council of the Odesa Region.
This year’s conference will gather leading attorneys, scholars, and legal professionals from across the country to address urgent challenges facing the legal profession, law enforcement practices, and professional ethics.
As part of the program, the Construction Law Committee of the Bar Council of the Odesa Region will host a series of hands-on masterclasses.
One of them will focus on the topic: “How to Invest in Properties Under Construction: Legal Risks and Developer Due Diligence.”
The speakers of this session will be Juris Ferrum Law Firm partners:
- Nadiia Gnizdovska — attorney, Head of the Construction Law Committee of the Bar Council of the Odesa Region, member of the Construction Committee of the UNBA, certified real estate inventory specialist;
- Ganna Gnizdovska — attorney, PhD in Law, Managing Partner at Juris Ferrum Law Firm, Secretary of the Construction Law Committee of the Bar Council of the Odesa Region, member of the Appeals Commission of the National Anti-Doping Center and of the Legal Committee of the Ukrainian Association of Football.
The masterclass will explore:
- how to verify a developer and their permits;
- key legal considerations when investing in properties under construction;
- what types of agreements are typically used at this stage and what risks they may carry;
- how to protect an investor in case of construction delays or problems with property registration.
Special attention will be paid to practical due diligence tools in the construction sector, which the Juris Ferrum team applies on a daily basis.
The session will be valuable for both young attorneys and experienced practitioners working in real estate, investments, or representing developers and buyers.
