On December 26, the final meeting of the Committee Chairs of the Bar Council of the Odesa Region took place. It was one of those occasions when a professional discussion goes beyond formal reporting and turns into a broader strategy for regional development.
Our partner Gnizdovska Nadiia, who heads the Construction Law Committee of the Bar Council of the Odesa Region, was part of this dialogue 💼
For us, construction law is not an abstract field. It is daily practice involving disputes with developers, problematic investments, permitting documentation, unauthorised construction, and the constant need to balance the interests of businesses, communities, and public authorities.
What was discussed at the Bar Council?
Although the meeting took place in December, the focus was already on 2026.
🔹 Reviewing the results of 2025: analysing what had been achieved through the work of the Committees and which challenges the legal community faced, particularly in the areas of construction and real estate law.
🔹 Shaping the “roadmap” for 2026: defining concrete steps to strengthen the role of lawyers in the region and to enhance the quality, transparency, and effectiveness of legal protection in construction-related disputes.
It was a constructive, informal discussion — without formality, but with a clear vision of responsibility and results.
🤝 Special thanks to the Bar Council of the Odesa Region for creating a space where lawyers from different practice areas can engage in meaningful dialogue. This kind of synergy allows us not only to work within our respective niches, but also to build a united and strong professional community.
We continue to move forward, implement change, and maintain a high professional standard in 2026 — in construction law and beyond.
